Sweatering up for Fall

DIBY (Do it Better Yourself) is all about empowering women to learn and refine new skills. Their Facebook group has members asking questions about construction, recipes, gardening, etc. And DIBY designs, tests, and supports the DIBY Club with excellently drafted patterns with superior fit. They are truly women supporting women. Unsurprisingly, DIBY patterns are each named after a woman with an amazing story.

Malala-sept24-2018-5The newest DIBY release, the Malala Sweater was named after Malala Yousafzai. Malala is an activist for female education and the youngest person to ever win a Nobel Peace Prize. For more information about the pattern’s namesake, see her biography here.

True to DIBY fashion, the Malala features this amazing collar and is loaded with options (hem and sleeve lengths, bands), super-inclusive size ranges (each pattern comes with a misses and plus option), really detailed instructions (this collar looks super fiddly but with DIBY, you can totally do it!), and superb fit advice.

The pattern will be on sale during the release week AND there will be an additional BOGO offer! Buy the Malala, get any of the amazing DIBY jeans patterns for 50% off. Check out my DIBY flare add-ons to the Bravado below. This offer is also only good during the release week. As always, Sewing Insiders have an extra discount in their emails.

While you’re cruising the DIBY deals, snatch up the brand new FREE Anything but Basic leggings pattern.

***As a DIBY Club Tester, I received this pattern in exchange for sewing it up
and offering feedback throughout the testing process. This blog post contains
affiliate links for which I receive a small commission on any sales.
This helps support my growing fabric collection and is much appreciated.***
